Overview

Louise Bonner supports clients in the insurance industry as they seek strategic solutions to their legal and regulatory challenges. Louise counsels insurers and brokerage general agencies on issues relating to life insurance, including lapse, material misrepresentation, fraud, beneficiary disputes, bad-faith allegations and claims administration. She also counsels insurance and annuity companies in the transfer of structured settlement payment rights, as well as disputes arising from the attempted assignment of annuity payments, improper payee claims, interpleader claims, beneficiary disputes and overpayment recovery.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining Faegre Drinker, Louise served as a judicial intern for Judge Nitza I. Quiñones Alejandro of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She was also a congressional intern for Pennsylvania Representative Jim Gerlach.

An accomplished athlete, Louise was two-time captain of the Georgetown University Varsity Field Hockey team and was named to the Collegiate National Academic Squad’s Big East All-Academic Team.

Personal Interests

Louise loves cooking, reading, running, yoga, spending time with her family and giving back to the community through service.
