Overview

An experienced trial attorney, Lauren Barta litigates complex business matters nationwide, with a focus on intellectual property litigation. Lauren is the deputy practice area leader for Patent Litigation at Faegre Drinker. She often serves as a lead attorney, responsible for the day-to-day management of cases for some of Faegre Drinker’s largest clients. As a registered patent attorney, Lauren also counsels clients on post-grant proceedings before the USPTO and intellectual property due diligence. Lauren partners with clients and in-house counsel to understand the goals and priorities that inform their business practices and legal needs. Lauren also is an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, where she teaches a course on patent litigation.
