The article examines how people living with Alzheimer’s disease have been reported to exhibit transient recovery of communication or behavioral abilities originally thought lost. Often under-investigated, the article explains how advancing the scientific research of the incidence, prevalence, and predictors of lucid episodes can help provide a better understanding of their causes and implications for patients and caregivers.
