Fred Reish Comments on Investment Advice With CNBC

In “A ‘sea change’ may be coming for investment advice about 401(k)-to-IRA rollovers, one expert says,” CNBC spoke to benefits and executive compensation partner Fred Reish for insight on the Department of Labor’s (DOL) proposed rule that aims to ensure retirement savers receive financial advice that’s in their best interests.

The proposal would most impact rollovers, a common move for new retirees, said Reish. “It’s the single largest transaction” many people make in their life, often involving $250,000 to $500,000 or more, he noted.
