Fund Formation Challenges and Changes - Post JOBS Act

Philadelphia partner Josh Deringer spoke at iGlobal Forum’s 3rd Annual Alternative Investments Summit in New York City on May 30.

Josh participated in a panel discussion on the upside of registering a hedge fund with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The panel also discussed the affects that the JOBS Act will have on the marketing of hedge funds.

The focus of the summit was to discuss alternative investment strategies that are generating the highest risk-adjusted returns in today's volatile market environment. The event featured some of the country’s leading institutional investors, allocators and fund managers.
