The State of I-9 Employment Verification and Compliance

Labor and employment partner Scott Wright participated in a conference session titled, “The State of I-9 Employment Verification and Compliance,” for the Upper Midwest Immigration Law Conference. 

In the session, the panelists covered the new I-9 form, virtual verification and the list of acceptable documents. The panelists also discussed the state of I-9 auditing, best practices to avoid unlawful discrimination and what’s on the horizon for I-9s.
