Retirement Plan Trends in Today’s Health Care Market

Drinker Biddle and Transamerica held a panel discussion on retirement plan trends for health care institutions. The discussion focused on the results of Transamerica’s 13th annual Health Care Retirement Plan Survey, conducted by Transamerica Retirement Solutions and the American Hospital Association. This study surveyed 87 hospital administrators and chief financial officers and provides valuable insight on issues that impact defined contribution and defined benefit plans sponsored by health care organizations.

The panel was be led by attorneys from Drinker Biddle, advisors from Transamerica, and a plan sponsor from ProHealth Care. The discussion will help guide health care plan sponsors and their retirement plan consultants and advisors to critically evaluate opportunities for improvement as they benchmark their organizations in many areas of retirement plan design and management.
