Health and Welfare Plan Compliance Update Seminar

Chicago partner Michael Rosenbaum and counsel Dawn Sellstrom spoke at GCG Financial’s Annual Employee Benefits Benchmarking Survey Results & Regulatory and Compliance Update Seminar on June 7. Michael and Dawn provided a health and welfare plan compliance update, discussed how health plans for employees may be affected by tax reform and Obama/Trump Care, and provided an update on Department of Labor audits, HIPAA privacy and security, mental health parity, wellness and fiduciary issues.

The other half of the seminar discussed the 2017 Benefits Benchmarking Results, analyze local and national 2016 survey data, and examine alternative funding strategies, consumerism and the hottest trends in health care.
