Texas Lawyer recognized litigation associate Zack McConnell in the 2026 Texas Legal Award as a “Most Promising Newcomer” finalist. The award honors individuals in their first years as attorneys who have shown exceptional potential, work ethic, and legal acumen.
McConnell counsels clients across a range of business and commercial litigation disputes, including trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, and commercial development cases. He has an active practice assisting pro bono clients seeking asylum and he volunteers in his community to restore and repair low-income housing developments.
Prior to joining the firm, McConnell served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Amos Mazzant of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and to the Hon. Martin Hoffman of the 68th Civil District Court in Dallas County.
Honorees will be recognized and the winners of finalist categories will be announced at an awards dinner on September 30, 2026, at the Arts District Mansion in Dallas, Texas.
