Faegre Drinker Welcomes Tax Partner Andreas Andrews to Corporate Group in Philadelphia

Faegre Drinker announced today that Andreas Andrews has joined the firm’s corporate group as a tax partner in the Philadelphia office. Andrews joins from a global law firm.

Andrews advises clients on complex US federal income tax matters with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, private investment funds, and renewable energy transactions. He works with strategic companies, financial sponsors, renewable energy developers and investors, and private funds and private fund investors to structure transactions that are both tax-efficient and aligned with business objectives.

Andrews counsels buyers and sellers on the tax aspects of public and private acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, reorganizations, and cross-border transactions. He also has significant experience advising private fund investors and sponsors across the lifecycle of fund formation and operation, and advising developers, investors, tax credit buyers, and lenders with respect to financing structures, transferability, and monetization of applicable US federal income tax credits attributable to clean energy technologies.

Andrews earned his bachelor’s degree from The College of the Holy Cross, his Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law, and his Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
