Faegre Drinker Grows Life Sciences Consulting Team With Nationally Recognized Patient Experience Researcher Holly Peay, PhD
Faegre Drinker announced today that Dr. Holly Peay has joined the firm as senior director with Faegre Drinker Consulting. Previously, Dr. Peay was a senior research scientist at an international research organization.
Dr. Peay is an accomplished scientist with a robust background in clinical and public health research, decision support, patient experience, and ethical, legal, and social impact studies. Her experience spans both rare and common disorders, genomic sequencing, and other advanced genetic technologies. Dr. Peay will collaborate with clients on matters related to patient-focused drug development (PFDD), patient engagement and patient-focused research.

Before joining Faegre Drinker, Dr. Peay led regulatory projects for industry, research, and advocacy groups, as well as government agencies including the Food and Drug Administration. Her capabilities encompass qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods patient experience and preference research, as well as meaningful and structured patient and community engagement. Dr. Peay’s previous roles also include senior VP of community research at Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD), and various research and leadership positions at the National Human Genome Research Institute, the National Coalition for Health Professional Education in Genetics (NCHPEG), Greater Baltimore Medical Center, and Johns Hopkins' Epidemiology and Genetics Program in the Department of Psychiatry.
Dr. Peay earned her doctorate in Medicine from Leiden University, a master’s in genetic counseling from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, and bachelor’s in interdisciplinary studies in biomedical ethics from the University of Virginia.
