Faegre Drinker Advises Caltius Equity Partners in Investment in APHIX

A Faegre Drinker team led by corporate partner Ryan Miske provided legal counsel to Los Angeles-based investment firm Caltius Equity Partners (Caltius) in its significant investment in APHIX, a founder-owned provider of commercial landscape services in Kentucky and Tennessee. The transaction marks the first time APHIX has partnered with an institutional investor.

The partnership with APHIX is a continuation of Caltius’ experience in the facility services industry, which includes its past investment in Air Conditioning Innovative Solutions.

The deal team also included corporate associates Richard Bennett, Thomas Lowry and Melanie Pulles, tax partner Charles Bybee and tax associate Arsalan Memon, finance partner Nicole Leimer, real estate counsel Keri Wertish, and labor and employment partner Scott Wright and paralegal Jennifer Ekenstedt.

Caltius was founded in 1999 in Los Angeles, California, and has been a source of private capital to leading lower middle-market companies for over 20 years.
