Drinker Biddle Advises Vanbridge, LLC on Acquisition by EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants

A Drinker Biddle team led by New York partner Michael Halsband advised Vanbridge, LLC, a specialty insurance intermediary, program management, and risk advisory services business, in its acquisition by EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants, a national retail insurance brokerage and employee benefits consulting firm. EPIC has acquired the assets, operations and employees of Vanbridge, adding 45 team members to the firm.

The team included Dave Marley, Thomas Gray, Kate Gold, Mona Ghude, Sandra Grannum, Ira Kalina, Maria Monte and Karen Gelula.

Headquartered in New York, NY, Vanbridge is an insurance intermediary and program management business that provides products and services at the intersection of the insurance, private equity and hedge fund industries. Vanbridge focuses on alternative asset management, corporate and individual high net worth clients; solving risk related issues utilizing insurance and alternative capital. Upon joining EPIC, the business will operate as Vanbridge – an EPIC Company and will be able to leverage the EPIC platform to expand its business on behalf of Alternative Asset Managers.
