Justin Kay and Ken Vorrasi Named to Benchmark Litigation’s 2018 “40 & Under Hot List”

Partners Justin Kay and Ken Vorrasi were noted among Benchmark Litigation’s 2018 “40 & Under Hot List” for the second year in a row. The list, now in its third year, honors the nation’s most accomplished litigation partners who are 40 years old or younger.

Justin Kay, based in the firm’s Chicago office, defends complex civil matters in federal and state court, as well as before federal agencies. He focuses in particular on the defense of class actions, including those related to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and other consumer protection statutes, and writes, speaks and serves as a resource for journalists reporting on such laws. He is a vice chair of the firm’s Class Actions Team, a member of the TCPA Team, and chair of the firm-wide National Hiring Committee, which oversees the recruiting and hiring of associates. Justin was also recognized by the Chicago Law Bulletin as one of this year’s “40 under 40.”

Ken Vorrasi, based in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, dedicates his practice to antitrust and complex commercial litigation. He represents clients in litigation in federal and state court, in government investigations, and before federal and state antitrust agencies in obtaining clearance of mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. Ken has significant experience securing approval of clients’ strategic transactions from the FTC, DOJ and state attorneys general, with a particular emphasis on working for clients in the health care and technology industries. He serves as co-chair of the firm’s Antitrust Team and was recognized as one of D.C.’s “Top 40 Under 40” by Trending 40.

Benchmark Litigation covers major litigation and disputes firms and individuals in the United States, Canada and Mexico, and is the only publication to issue a guide focusing exclusively on U.S. litigation.
