Doug Raymond and Robert Cannuscio named “Best of the Bar” honorees by the Philadelphia Business Journal
Doug Raymond and Robert Cannuscio have been recognized as “Best of the Bar” honorees in the Corporate and Intellectual Property law categories, respectively, by the Philadelphia Business Journal. The 40 honorees were chosen based on the quality of their achievements in the past year, including business/legal significance of matters, results and business impact of their work.
A partner in the Corporate and Securities Group, Doug has more than 30 years of experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and joint ventures. He works extensively on matters of corporate governance for both public and private companies, and advises boards of directors and special board committees across a range of governance challenges.
In addition to his legal work, Doug serves on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia History Museum and Aeris Insight, Inc., a nonprofit corporation that provides financial and social impact ratings of institutions to community development financial institutions and other investors to maximize their social impact investments.
Robert is a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. He advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property law including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and trade dress. He spends considerable time counseling clients on how to protect their key technology, manage their portfolios, investigate product names and handle conflicts with competitors.
Robert is a past Board of Governors Trustee and Chairman for the Armenian Bar Association, a past president of the Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association, a past president of the Benjamin Franklin Inn of Court, and the co-founder of the Pace University School of Law Intellectual Property Law Society.
