Alex Denny and Caryn Glawe Win Client Choice Award

Faegre Baker Daniels partners Alex Denny and Caryn Glawe have received a 2016 Client Choice award from the International Law Office and Lexology for providing outstanding service to clients.

The Client Choice awards recognize law firms and partners around the world who stand out for providing exceptional client care and high-quality service. Winning attorneys add real value to clients' businesses above and beyond their peers.

Denny, a partner in FaegreBD’s London office, was recognized for his work in employment and benefits. He is the leader of the London labor and employment group and is experienced in a broad range of employment issues, with particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and TUPE, and the management of executive terminations.

A partner in the firm’s Indianapolis office, Glawe was honored for her work in the insurance industry, where she advises on state and federal regulatory and transactional matters, counseling insurers, HMOs and related entities across the country. A substantial portion of her practice is dedicated to insurance company insolvency and receivership proceedings.

To select winners, a research team surveys in-house counsel, asking them to rate 2,000 individual lawyers on quality of legal advice, value for money, commercial awareness, effective communication, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, response time, sharing of expertise and use of technology. A shortlist for each practice area is developed based on survey results, and the research team conducts follow-up interviews with up to five referees submitted by the shortlisted candidates.

The International Law Office is an online resource for senior international corporate counsel that provides updates on legal developments and opportunities to engage with law firms worldwide. Lexology is a daily newsfeed of law firm client alerts, articles and blogs delivered to senior business lawyers worldwide.
