Brad Campbell Quoted in USA Today

Washington, D.C. counsel Brad Campbell was quoted in a USA Today article titled, “Court makes it easier to sue over 401(k) retirement plans.” The article discussed the Supreme Court’s recent ruling in favor of current and former workers of Edison International. The ruling means that plan fiduciaries are required to conduct regular reviews of plan investments.

Brad commented on remandment of the case to the 9th Circuit. “The court managed to both decide and duck the core issue all at once,” he said. “While it clearly said that the duty to monitor is a separate duty running under its own statute of limitations, the court was intentionally silent about the scope of the duty to monitor.”
