Anderegg, Bylund, Rhoten, Walker and Wright Named 2015 BTI Client Service All-Stars

Five partners from Faegre Baker Daniels have been selected as BTI Client Service All-Stars for 2015, earning the firm a spot in the top 11 of all firms ranked. FaegreBD’s All-Star attorneys are Scott Anderegg, Jacob Bylund, Roger Rhoten, Kim Walker and Doug Wright.

The All-Star designation is reserved for attorneys who stand out with corporate counsel as providing the best in client service. Clients recognize attorneys who demonstrate superior client focus and thought leadership, have an exceptional ability to understand their client's business, consistently exceed clients' expectations, possess excellent legal skills and depth of knowledge, and deliver outstanding results. Only 354 attorneys nationwide were selected for recognition in 2015.

Kim Walker was named an MVP for receiving the All-Star recognition for five consecutive years. He is one of only three attorneys nationally to be selected for five years or more in a row. Walker leads the firm's international food and agriculture industry team of more than 150 lawyers and focuses on serving clients in food and agriculture litigation. He manages client relationships for some of the world’s largest food manufacturers and agriculture companies including Ardent Mills, Cargill, Incorporated, Hormel Foods Corporation, North American Meat Institute and the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association, among others. He is also an active speaker for national trade associations and is recognized for his industry knowledge. He is regularly ranked in Chambers USA for litigation and is part of the firm’s nationally ranked food litigation and regulatory practice.

Scott Anderegg, who practices in commercial real estate at FaegreBD, receives his second BTI Client Service All-Stars ranking. He has been involved in all aspects of commercial real estate, including purchases and sales, development, leasing and financing. Anderegg is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and is regularly listed for real estate law in Chambers USA and Best Lawyers in America.

Jacob Bylund has been named a Client Service All-Star for the third time. He is a trial lawyer and is a leader of the firm's food and agriculture industry team. He is active in the National Grain and Feed Association and also represents clients before the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Office of General Counsel, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA), and the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Jacob is noted by clients for his deep knowledge of the food and agriculture industry. He is consistently ranked in Chambers USA for general and commercial litigation.

Roger Rhoten counsels clients on a range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, spin-off transactions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, securities offerings, joint ventures and private equity investments. He has recently advised on several complex international transactions, including multibillion-dollar acquisitions from European private equity sponsors. Rhoten also has advised on acquisitions, divestitures, carve-out sales and spin-off transactions involving large concentrations of international assets and businesses.

Doug Wright advises on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and securities matters in a broad range of industries, including telecommunications, manufacturing, transportation, medical devices, technology, gaming, oil and gas, and mining. He has been actively involved as lead partner in a variety of domestic and international M&A transactions, including representation of public and private company sellers, buyers, private equity investors, management and special committees. He is regularly listed for corporate and M&A law in Chambers USA and Best Lawyers in America.
