Faegre Baker Daniels partner Nicole Leimer has been named to Finance & Commerce’s Top Women in Finance for 2015.
Top Women in Finance honors high-achieving Minnesota women making notable contributions to their professions, communities and society at large.
Leimer is in her 10th year of practicing law, and has been at Faegre Baker Daniels for the duration of her legal career. A partner at the firm since 2013, she focuses her practice in corporate finance, including mezzanine finance and representing public, private and private equity-backed companies in obtaining debt financing through secured and unsecured credit facilities.
Outside the office, Leimer is dedicated to advancing women in the legal industry and business community. To that end, she is involved in Faegre Baker Daniels’ Women’s Forum for Achievement, and is a past participant of the Minnesota Women Lawyers (MWL) Leadership Initiative. She is involved with the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce’s leadership project, Leadership Twin Cities.
Leimer provides pro bono services through LegalCORPS, a nonprofit organization that provides free assistance in non-litigation business law matters to low-income small business owners. She works with entrepreneurs with entity formation for startups, and other corporate law matters. She also donates her time and expertise to the Hennepin County Conciliation Court Clinic.
She received her bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Benedict and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
