Kait’s astute approach to tax matters led to her 2015 appointment to Philadelphia’s Tax Review Board (TRB). She was tapped by former Mayor Michael A. Nutter to help resolve nonjudicial disputes regarding city taxes, charges, fees and fines.
Kait previously clerked for Judge Albert W. Sheppard in Philadelphia’s Commerce Case Management Program.
Kait lives in Nether Providence, Philadelphia, with her son, Tyler, and twins, Zack and Laynie.

Kait was elected in October 2017, and re-elected in October 2021, as Nether Providence’s 4th Ward Commissioner. As of January 2022, she assumed the role of President of the Board.
