Global Restructuring Review (GRR) named Faegre Drinker as one of the world’s leading law firms for cross-border restructurings and insolvencies in the 2026 “GRR 100.” Faegre Drinker once again earned a spot on the “GRR 30” list, the publication’s ranking of the 30 standout firms in the “GRR 100.”
GRR highlighted Faegre Drinker’s restructuring and insolvency team, comprised of 45 lawyers across the U.S. and London, including partners James Millar, Frank Velocci, Patrick Corr, Mike Pompeo, and Buvini Kularatne. The publication also emphasized the group’s top cases, including Flemingo International, Azul, and Selecta.
GRR also provided client testimonials. “Faegre Drinker’s partners were robust and pragmatic in advising on the board’s position during a very difficult liquidity situation,” one client noted. “Their advice was not always welcomed by the executive team but was appreciated by the non-executive directors and enabled them to operate safely.”
The “GRR 100” 2026 is the product of several months of extensive research and writing, including detailed questionnaires sent to hundreds of law firms around the world that seek input on the history of each firm’s restructuring and insolvency practice, its notable past cases, its key names to know and any other characteristics worth highlighting, as well as soliciting feedback from clients of the law firms.
