Target acquired the technology assets of Menlo Park, California-based delivery company Deliv. Faegre Drinker represented Target in the acquisition.
As of May 2020, Deliv was in the process of shutting down, with final deliveries expected in August 2020. Target will research Deliv’s technology, which allows for grouping deliveries for the last mile of shipping, in order to further expand its delivery capabilities following its acquisition of Shipt in 2017.
