Bed Bath & Beyond achieved dismissal of an employment lawsuit stemming from the company’s reduction in force. The lawsuit was brought by a former employee who alleged that she was terminated due to a work-related injury, asserting causes of action for wrongful termination, discrimination on the basis of physical condition, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The case was dismissed in state superior court on a motion for summary judgment. Our firm represented Bed Bath & Beyond in the litigation.
