Bed Bath & Beyond Granted Summary Judgment in Lawsuit Alleging Violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act

Bed Bath & Beyond successfully defended an employment lawsuit stemming from the company’s reduction in force. The lawsuit alleged age discrimination in violation of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), failure to prevent harassment or discrimination in violation of FEHA, and wrongful termination. The case was dismissed in state superior court on a motion for summary judgment. Our firm represented Bed Bath & Beyond in the litigation.
