National Insurance Provider Wins Summary Judgment Ruling in Class Action

North America - United States | North America | United States - Washington

After receiving an unfavorable legal determination in an individual bad faith case in Washington federal court, the client, a national insurance provider, hired our firm to defend the follow-on class action case concerning alleged improper personal property depreciation payments under homeowner’s policies. The client won a favorable summary judgment ruling on the central contract interpretation issue. Our firm is currently defending that summary judgment order on interlocutory appeal to the 9th Circuit.
