National Franchisor Defeats Class Certification, Wins Summary Judgment in Putative Class Action

Our firm represents a national franchisor that has faced litigation in California, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and other states concerning employee-classification claims of janitorial service franchisees. The franchisor defeated class certification and won summary judgment in a putative class action in the Northern District of California and is defending the grant of summary judgment on remand from the Ninth Circuit.
