Sea Containers Completes Cross-Border Restructuring That Introduces “Light Touch” Provisional Liquidation

Sea Containers completed a cross-border restructuring in Bermuda and the United States. Patrick Corr acted for Sea Containers in the proceedings. The case introduced the concept of “light touch” provisional liquidation which has since been adopted by other jurisdictions, including the Cayman Islands, the British Virgin Islands and Hong Kong.
