Japanese Telecom Manufacturer Gains U.S. Antitrust Dismissal and Arbitration Conducted in Tokyo

A Japanese telecommunications equipment manufacturer succeeded in having a $180 million antitrust suit against it dismissed and referred to arbitration. Larry Scarborough represented the telecom manufacturer. He also succeeded in arguing to a joint committee of the American Arbitration Association and the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association that proceedings should be conducted in Tokyo, effectively resolving the matter.
