Raccoon Baseball, Inc., parent company of the Iowa Cubs (Pacific Coast League, Triple A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs) and its affiliated company Riverside Baseball, LLC, owner of the Battle Creek Yankees (Midwest League, Single A affiliate of the New York Yankees) required principal counsel on corporate and employment law matters.
Riverside Baseball, LLC acquired and financed the Battle Creek team, with our firm representing the buyer. The teams also required general contract drafting, review and negotiations and employment law counseling. We represented Raccoon Baseball, Inc. as principal counsel in these matters.
