Overview
Micaela Yarosh provides comprehensive support to businesses that are facing mass tort and product liability risks.
Prior Experience
Before joining the firm, Micaela gained experience in litigation, data privacy and health law through work in both the public and private sectors. As a summer associate with the firm, she supported attorneys on litigation matters involving real estate, trademarks and data privacy, and developed client resources summarizing state data privacy laws for life sciences clients.
During law school, Micaela served as a research assistant to Professor Matthew Kugler, analyzing over 100 complaints filed under Illinois’ Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) and leading a team of research assistants to expand the project’s scope.
She previously clerked with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Vaccine Litigation, drafting pleadings, settlement memoranda and damages briefs in vaccine injury cases and conducting data-driven research to inform government litigation strategy. Earlier, Micaela contributed to neuroethics research at the Shen Neurolaw Lab in Minneapolis.
Personal Interests
Outside of the office, Micaela is playing her violin, cooking new recipes and learning to sew.
