Overview

Jessica Tabibian advises clients in mass tort and product liability litigation across industries including pharmaceuticals and medical devices, consumer products, and technology.

Product Liability & Mass Tort Litigation

Jessica has significant experience representing clients in product liability matters, from individual claims to large-scale mass torts. She has defended pharmaceutical, medical device and over-the-counter drug manufacturers. Her work spans all phases of product liability and mass tort litigation, including taking depositions, drafting dispositive motions, and collaborating with experts in cardiology, epidemiology, toxicology, oncology and related specialties.

Technology Litigation

Jessica has represented leading technology companies in high-stakes product liability actions. She previously defended one of the world’s largest app-based platforms in the Social Media Adolescent Addiction / Personal Injury multidistrict litigation (MDL) and related Judicial Council Coordinated Proceeding (JCCP) in California. In that role, she helped lead discovery for 30 potential bellwether cases, coordinating more than 150 depositions nationwide, overseeing large-scale document reviews and preparing matters for trial selection.

Her past work also includes defending micromobility transportation companies in innovative product liability suits, where she developed case strategy through in-depth corporate document analysis and prepared clients for high-exposure corporate representative depositions.

Prior Experience

Before joining Faegre Drinker’s Los Angeles office, Jessica was an associate at a litigation boutique in Washington, D.C., where she built a strong foundation in complex commercial disputes, personal injury matters and pharmaceutical product liability cases, litigating cases through trial. She also maintained an active pro bono practice and was recognized with the D.C. Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll’s distinction of High Honors for securing both equitable and monetary relief for an elderly client in a landlord-tenant dispute.

Jessica received her J.D., with honors, from The George Washington University Law School. During law school, she was a member of the George Washington International Law Review, served as a writing fellow, and earned a position on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honors Board.
