Overview

Amani Khoury helps energy, natural resources and manufacturing clients advance business goals by leveraging public policy strategy, government advocacy, and a deep understanding of environmental regulations and energy policies.

Prior Experience

As a summer associate with Faegre Drinker, Amani worked closely with the environment and energy team. She assisted in litigation matters, researching disclosure requirements for the identity of experts and evidentiary rules regarding historical documents produced by regulatory agencies. She also aided in transactional matters, analyzing an environmental, social and governance report to determine potential liability risks for a manufacturer.

Before joining the firm, Amani was a climate fellow with the Indiana Land Protection Alliance, analyzing climate change impacts and researching eco-regions within Indiana land trusts. She also has experience as a senior mediator with the Community Justice and Mediation Center, leading hundreds of mediation sessions involving landlord-tenant disputes.

Personal Interests

When she isn’t climbing rock walls, Amani is probably reading mystery books or listening to historical or true crime podcasts.
