Nick Hunsicker
Associate
Overview
Nick Hunsicker counsels clients in litigation and dispute resolution.
Prior Experience
Nick joined Faegre Drinker after a series of judicial, clinical, and firm experiences during law school. As a legal intern for The Honorable Caroline G. Cinquanto through Temple’s Federal Judicial Clerkship Honors Program, Nick reviewed habeas corpus petitions and prepared reports and recommendations, drafted settlement memoranda and case files, and wrote nonprecedential opinions on motions to dismiss. As a summer associate at Faegre Drinker, Nick researched and briefed legal questions on matters ranging from white collar crime to antitrust, helped prepare for oral arguments, and drafted a qualified immunity argument for a pro bono prisoners’ rights case.
As a student in Temple’s Tech Justice Clinic at the Institute for Law, Innovation, & Technology, Nick represented a mother in a wrongful death suit against an AI company involving her son. They developed a novel liability argument against Google that resulted in a groundbreaking denial of a motion to dismiss and drew national news coverage. In 2024, as a Philadelphia Diversity Law Group Fellow and legal intern at a commercial business law firm, Nick wrote a portion of a filed brief analyzing a circuit split in the interpretation of the Bankruptcy Code.
Before law school, Nick served as manager of development operations at Mural Arts Philadelphia, where they collaborated with lobbyists and leadership on the organization’s FY24 city budget campaign and developed an “arts and culture” platform.
Personal Interests
Outside of the office, Nick enjoys vegan cooking, going to concerts, watching movies, and walking their dog.
