Overview
Prior Experience
Before joining the firm, Tyler gained experience in litigation, research, policy and advocacy across several organizations. As a summer associate with the firm in 2024, he contributed to litigation projects involving greenwashing, SEC enforcement and products liability, conducting legal research and assisting with discovery motions in high-value cases. At the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, he served as a research assistant to Professor Cary Coglianese, focusing on administrative law and environmental regulation reviews. Tyler augmented his research work by serving as the managing editor of The Regulatory Review, where he authored several pieces on emerging legal trends and the effect of regulation on business.
Previously, Tyler interned with the American Forest and Paper Association and the National Association of State Foresters in Washington, D.C., supporting government affairs, communications and policy advocacy through research and strategy development. He also worked as a professorial assistant at Michigan State University, conducting research on judicial behavior and evaluating tools for academic projects.
Personal Interests
Outside of the office, Tyler enjoys being outdoors, fishing and hiking. He is an avid Michigan State, Detroit and St. Louis sports fan, and enjoys playing pick-up basketball and soccer games in his spare time. He is also a frequent consumer of pub trivia.
