Overview
Commercial Litigation
Krista has appeared in federal and state court hearings, and has argued a motion to dismiss. She drafts demand letters, pleadings, discovery requests and dispositive motions, and assists in the preparation and strategy for depositions. In discovery, Krista also reviews documents, responds to requests, and gathers and prepares the documents to produce.
Prior Experience
Before joining Faegre Drinker, Krista was a litigation associate at an Am Law 100 firm. She previously served as a court-appointed special advocate for the family court of Somerset County (N.J.), working with children in the out-of-home foster care system to ensure their best interests are considered throughout court proceedings, managing a caseload of 20 to 30 families. During law school Krista was also a student attorney for Rutgers Law School Child Advocacy Clinic, conducting client meetings and participating in court hearings.
Personal Interests
A former NCAA Division 1 track and field athlete, Krista still likes to run daily. She also enjoys reading memoirs, and spending time with her family.
