Kate Goldberg counsels clients in litigation and dispute resolution.
Prior Experience
Prior to joining the firm, Kate gained broad litigation and regulatory experience through roles in private practice, government, and clinical settings. As a summer associate with the firm in 2024, she conducted legal research, drafted client memoranda and articles, analyzed False Claims Act materiality issues, and advised on privacy and shipping regulations.
Kate also gained hands-on litigation experience through roles with the Bet Tzedek Civil Litigation Clinic and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in both the Southern District of New York and the District of Massachusetts, where she appeared in federal and state court, drafted pleadings and memoranda, participated in mediation resulting in a successful settlement, presented oral argument in an Article 78 proceeding, and supported criminal and civil investigations involving racketeering, health care fraud, the False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and the ADA through legal research, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Before law school, Kate worked as a general and special education teacher, where she developed strong advocacy, communication, and regulatory compliance skills, including drafting documentation required under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
Personal Interests
Outside of the office, Kate enjoys cooking any and all recipes by Alison Roman and Melissa Clark, playing around with film photography, learning how to embroider, and watching the Buckeyes beat that team up north.
