Overview

Rachel Dansky counsels clients in litigation and dispute resolution.

Prior Experience

While in law school, Rachel was an intern for Hon. J. Curtis Joyner of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where she researched legal issues and wrote memoranda, briefs and motions. She also drafted memoranda on topics such as: intervention in a declaratory judgment action, the enforcement of an arbitration clause in an employment discrimination case, transfer of venue, and orders for compassionate release.

Rachel was a summer associate for Faegre Drinker, where she collaborated with partners and associates on assignments including drafting a motion in limine to exclude evidence that was unfairly prejudicial to a client, and researching and drafting a legal memorandum discussing the discretion K-12 schools have in disciplining their employees for private speech.

Rachel was a Beasley Scholar at Temple’s Law School, where she received the Barrister’s Award for Trial Advocacy and the Center for Forensic Economic Studies Jerome M. Staller Award, awarded annually to the graduates who have shown themselves in litigation areas to the be the most promising litigators. Rachel competed on Temple’s National Trial Team, winning the 2020 National Civil Trial Competition, and she was a member of the Temple Law Review, where she edited journal articles as well as wrote her own article on the First Step Act and its effects on crack cocaine sentences around the country.

Personal Interests

Outside the office, Rachel enjoys baking for her family and friends, finding old bookstores to explore and discovering new restaurants in Philadelphia.
