Overview
Emily Byers Olson provides comprehensive support to businesses that are facing mass tort and product liability risks.
Prior Experience
Before joining the firm, Emily gained extensive legal experience across litigation, public interest, and academic settings. As student director and student attorney with the Gun Violence Prevention Clinic at the University of Minnesota Law School, she developed affirmative cases aimed at reducing gun violence and supported the defense of gun safety laws.
Emily served as a summer associate at the firm in 2024; she prepared legal memoranda and assisted in litigation, transactional and business matters. She previously clerked at a different firm, supporting attorneys in complex commercial disputes, construction law, and personal injury cases.
Prior to law school, Emily worked as a paralegal and office administrator at a small private practice firm, assisting with criminal defense and personal injury matters and managing day-to-day firm operations.
Personal Interests
Outside of the office, Emily enjoys cooking, taking spin classes, and keeping up with her goal of reading a book each week.
