Kaitlin L. Brummel

Associate

Overview

Kate Brummel practices corporate law and advises clients in a wide range of industries. In addition to handling general corporate matters, including corporate governance, contract preparation, and contract negotiation, Kate regularly represents buyers and sellers in complex mergers and acquisitions through all stages of the deal — from LOI to closing. For Kate, the most rewarding part of being a transactional lawyer is helping companies and their owners navigate the legal processes of forming, operating, buying or selling their unique business.

Prior Experience

Kate began practicing law in Ohio at a well-established regional law firm and later transferred to an Am Law 200 law firm. At both firms, she served as the lead associate on multimillion-dollar transactions and international acquisitions. She has also provided support to her former firms’ real estate practices by regularly preparing and negotiating various commercial real estate documents such as purchase agreements, leases and deeds.

Personal Interests

When not at the office, Kate can be found staying active (be it through exercise, getting outdoors or shopping), trying a new restaurant, or attending any nearby sporting event or concert with her husband, Jay.
