Regulatory Experience as Deputy Attorney General
As Deputy Attorney General, Nate oversaw Minnesota’s regulatory cases in the consumer protection and charities areas and also litigated some of the state’s most high-profile regulatory and agency defense cases.
Nate’s extensive litigation, trial and prior regulatory experience help him assist clients facing class action litigation, business disputes or regulatory scrutiny.
Nate was previously a litigator at Faegre Baker Daniels from 2004-07 prior to joining the Attorney General’s Office for nearly nine years, five of which he served as Deputy Attorney General, with oversight over the Consumer, Charities and Human Services Divisions within the Office. He returned to the firm in 2016.
