Overview

Abraham Benson advocates for clients in property tax valuation disputes, advising on property tax exemptions and abatements. He has extensive valuation experience across all classes of commercial property, including industrial, retail, office, multifamily and hospitality. Abraham’s valuation knowledge, combined with his years of litigation experience, enables him to provide straightforward legal counsel that empowers clients and helps them reduce their property tax liability.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining the firm, Abraham managed the Indiana office for Ryan Property Tax Services. While at Ryan, Abraham provided consulting services to clients to help them better understand Indiana property taxation. He also worked closely with county officials across the state to help reduce his clients’ property tax assessments and regularly provided property tax due diligence reports and tax estimates detailing the potential impact a sale or purchase of real estate could have on future property assessments.

Personal Interests

Abraham spends most of his free time with his wife, Olivia, and two children, Violet and Izzy. They enjoy weekend trips to the park and Broad Ripple Farmer’s Market. Abraham also enjoys cooking and grilling at home.
