Dazia Anderson advises insurance companies and other insurance industry stakeholders to advance their business objectives.
Prior Experience
Dazia gained broad experience in litigation, constitutional law and public policy working as a summer associate with the firm and through roles with the American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia and the Louisiana House of Representatives. As a two-time summer associate with Faegre Drinker, Dazia conducted legal research and drafted memoranda on topics ranging from federal habeas rehearings and class certification to corporate compliance and telepathology licensure. At the ACLU of Georgia, Dazia supported litigation and advocacy efforts by researching potential constitutional violations in proposed legislation, preparing open records requests, and drafting pleadings and amicus briefs.
Before law school, Dazia served as a committee administrative assistant in the Louisiana House of Representatives, where she helped draft budget amendments and analyze proposed legislation. She also worked as a digital strategist for the Houston Public Library, managing partnerships to expand technology access in underserved communities, and as a public policy intern with the Institute of Urban Policy Research & Analysis, preparing policy briefs and organizing community engagement initiatives.
Personal Interests
Outside of the office, Dazia can often be found seeking out live jazz performances, exploring scenic nature trails or relaxing with her playful Havapoo.
