Nisha Quasba Comments on Drug Importation From Canada in Law360

Faegre Drinker Consulting director Nisha Quasba spoke with Law360 on the roadblocks that a program directed by the Trump Administration to import cheap prescription drugs from Canada are facing amid the heightened trade and political tensions of Trump's second term.

Quasba said she sees a contradiction between pushing for both onshoring drug manufacturing — one of Trump's many priorities in the ongoing tariff wars — and importing cheap drugs from Canada. That messaging is confusing for voters, Quasba said, and could be exploited by opponents.
