Roger Tsai Speaks With Law360 About Key Immigration Policy Developments From 2025

Labor and employment partner Roger Tsai spoke with Law360 about the impact of immigration policy changes enacted in 2025.

Tsai explained that concerns regarding immigration compliance have notably increased over the past year. "I've been practicing for 20 years — there's been no other year where we have received so many urgent calls from concerned employers and immigrant employees.” 

He noted that after the Trump administration lifted prohibitions on immigration enforcement at sensitive locations, even hospitals and K-12 schools had to revisit their policies and train frontline staff on how to respond if U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials ask about patients, students or employees.
