New Jersey’s Latest Effort on the Privacy Front

Privacy, Cybersecurity & Data Strategy partner Ken Dort and associate Mitch Noordyke authored an article for Cybersecurity Law & Strategy titled “New Jersey’s Latest Effort on the Privacy Front.”

In their article, Dort and Noordyke look at a New Jersey bill that would require businesses to obtain permission from New Jersey consumers before they could collect and sell/share personal data to third parties – AB 3255. The authors review the legislation’s implications for companies doing business in New Jersey that collect consumer data of New Jersey residents.
