Trial Counsel's Role on a Mass Tort Virtual Law Team

During mass tort litigation, the role of trial counsel is one of translation, synthesizing a lengthy record, identifying key themes, and presenting the company’s defense clearly and persuasively. However, trial counsel does not develop a strategy in isolation. In the virtual law team model, the trial team collaborates with coordinating counsel, settlement counsel and others throughout the mass tort’s life cycle to ensure the ultimate courtroom presentation is as persuasive as possible.
