Chicago partner Ken Dort was quoted in a CIO article titled “7 hot IT outsourcing trends — and 7 going cold,” which addressed technologies, strategies and shifting customer needs that are changing IT outsourcing and trends that are beginning to cool. The article also gave a “heat index” of IT outsourcing trends that can help in leveraging an IT outsourcing partnership.

Ken discussed an increased focus on compliance and security, which is heating up. IT outsourcing customers are more confused than ever on providers’ data security and regulatory compliance capabilities. Ken added that, “Clients’ intensity on this front has only gotten more focused as public awareness has magnified.”
