Kerry Bundy and Randall Kahnke Discuss Defend Trade Secrets Act with Minnesota Lawyer

Kerry Bundy and Randall Kahnke, partners in Faegre Baker Daniels' business litigation group, discussed the recently signed Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA) with Minnesota Lawyer in an article appearing May 19. They shared their view that the DTSA strikes a balance between the interest of trade secret owners and the rights of employees. 

They provided examples of questions for the future of intellectual property law the DTSA raises. "What is the extent of federal jurisdiction?" Kahnke said. "Do all trade secrets touch interstate commerce or only some of them? That's a very interesting area that we'll see developed going forward."
