Washington, D.C. science advisor Ilse Peterson co-authored an International Pharmaceutical Aerosol Consortium on Regulation and Science (IPAC-RS) publication titled, "A Multidisciplinary Approach to Care for Obstructive Respiratory Conditions: Communication, Coordination and Concordance. A Report by the IPAC-RS Patient Concordance Steering Committee." The publication reported the conclusions of the IPAC-RS Patient Concordance Steering Committee (PSCS) workshop and literature review.

The PCSC of the IPAC-RS investigated "how adherence and concordance in asthma and COPD [chronic obstructive pulmonary disease] might be improved through collaborative efforts."
