Law360: Jury Backs Seagate, Snuffs Siemens' Sensor Patent

Following a six-week jury trial in the Central District of California, the jury in a in a billion-dollar patent case brought by Siemens returned a complete defense verdict for Seagate Technology based on anticipation and obviousness.

Faegre & Benson attorney David J.F. Gross served as lead trial counsel for Seagate. The Seagate trial team also included IP litigation partners Cal Litsey, Mary Cullen Yeager and Aaron Van Oort and IP litigation associates Chad Drown, Kevin Wagner, Tim Grimsrud, Chris Burrell and Jeya Paul.
